Erie Insurance Appoints Morrison and Ackerman as New Leaders in Virginia

Erie Insurance (ERIE), based in Erie, Pennsylvania, has announced the appointment of Todd Morrison and Chad Ackerman as branch managers for its Roanoke and Richmond, Virginia locations, respectively.

Todd Morrison, who will oversee the Roanoke branch, brings 15 years of experience with ERIE. His most recent role was as senior district sales manager in southwest Virginia. Prior to joining ERIE, Morrison accumulated 14 years of experience as a sales producer and manager within an insurance agency. He also served as an advisor for Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, showcasing his extensive background in the insurance sector.

Chad Ackerman, appointed as the Richmond branch manager, began his journey with ERIE in 2015 as an IT business analyst intern. He quickly progressed through the ranks, participating in ERIE’s IT Apprentice program. From 2017 to 2023, Ackerman served as the district sales manager for the Northern Virginia Patriot district. In 2024, he transitioned to manage the South Richmond district, further solidifying his leadership role within the company.
