Ga. Farm Bureau Elevates Willis, LIRG Appoints Roche as Marketing Chief

Georgia Farm Bureau has announced a significant leadership change with Gary Willis stepping into the role of general manager for the bureau’s insurance corporation. Previously, Willis served as the executive director of insurance operations, showcasing his extensive experience within the organization.

Willis

Willis succeeds George Monk, who retired on January 2, as noted in a recent news release from GFB. A proud native of Lowndes County, Georgia, Willis holds a degree from Valdosta State University and has previously held the position of senior director of claims at GFB, further solidifying his qualifications for this new role.

In other industry news, Algorithmic Insurance Services, headquartered in Miami and known as LIRG, has appointed Orla Roche as its chief marketing officer, based in Florida. Roche brings a wealth of experience to her new position.

Roche

Before joining LIRG, Roche held a position at Vitamin Energy and is likely familiar to sports fans for her appearances in two Super Bowl commercials for a cruise line. In her new role, she will spearhead global marketing initiatives, including the launch of LIRG’s new podcast, as stated by the company.

LIRG operates as a specialty reinsurance brokerage and risk advisory platform, focusing on parametric, structured, and alternative risk transfer options. The company was founded by Mark Groenheide, who serves as its CEO.
