SAN Group Names Marcou Agency Growth Coach
SAN Group, based in Hampton, New Hampshire, has appointed Lynn Marcou as its new agency growth coach. In this role, she will provide invaluable support to member agencies across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts.
Marcou brings a wealth of experience to her new position, offering hands-on coaching and strategic guidance tailored to the unique goals and challenges faced by SAN member agencies. With 36 years in the insurance industry, her expertise spans agency operations, sales leadership, and building strong carrier relationships.
Throughout her career, Marcou has held several leadership positions within SAN Group and SIAA. Her roles have included director of agency foundation, regional vice president for Northern New England, and agency growth coach. Additionally, she has worked in independent agencies as a personal lines sales manager, senior risk manager, and producer, further enriching her understanding of the industry.
Underwood Joins Alliant’s Employee Benefits Group as VP
Mike Underwood has recently joined Alliant Insurance Services as vice president within its employee benefits group. He will be part of the newly established Alliant Affinity team, operating out of the Washington, D.C. Metro area.
Underwood’s expertise encompasses a broad range of areas, including financial services, insurance planning, and benefits design. He is particularly noted for his extensive experience in benefits planning tailored for veterans and active military personnel. Prior to his role at Alliant, Underwood served as the chief operating officer at MassMutual, where he honed his skills in operational leadership and strategic planning.
