With 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Hunt is well-equipped to lead Hamilton Re’s property insurance division. He joined Hamilton five years ago from Neon, where he served as senior vice president of Property Insurance.
Before his tenure at Neon, Hunt held senior underwriting positions in property insurance at ACE (now Chubb) and Arch. He began his career in insurance as a broker with Johnson and Higgins, later moving to XL (now AXA XL) where he transitioned into underwriting.
Hamilton operates three underwriting platforms: Hamilton Global Specialty, Hamilton Select, and Hamilton Re. Each platform is led by experienced professionals and provides access to a diverse and profitable business landscape worldwide.

MGA Arrow Launches Professional Indemnity Practice, Naming Cox as Class Underwriter
Arrow Risk Management, a London-based specialist MGA underwriting platform, has announced the launch of its International Professional Indemnity practice, appointing Nick Cox as Class Underwriter.
This new practice is part of Arrow’s broader Financial and Professional Lines portfolio and aims to develop a balanced book of Professional Indemnity (PI) business across both UK and international markets. Key sectors of focus will include design and construction, intermediaries, surveyors, architects, engineers, and solicitors, all supported by A-rated capacity from a panel of leading Lloyd’s syndicates.
Cox is a well-respected figure in the sector, boasting over 35 years of experience in the London PI market. He most recently served as class underwriter for WRB Underwriting, a position he held since 2005. His extensive background also includes underwriting roles at CNA Re and Chubb, and he has been an active participant in the IUA’s Professional Indemnity Forum.
Business will be conducted on the Arrow MGA platform, leveraging its top-tier operational services and comprehensive carrier data provision.
