Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has unveiled its latest offering, Executive First D&O Liability+, an enhanced Directors and Officers (D&O) liability insurance tailored for large commercial and financial organizations that trade their securities on U.S. exchanges.

This new coverage is designed to address the evolving risks faced by executives and boards of directors, providing a comprehensive safety net in today’s complex business environment. Key features of the Executive First D&O Liability+ include:

• Broad, simply worded coverage that caters to modern exposures, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding for policyholders.

• Expanded Side A protection, which encompasses asset and liberty proceeding costs, deprivation of asset expenses, reputational costs, mitigation costs, and additional protection for independent directors.
• A significant reduction in the number of exclusions, including a narrowed conduct exclusion, which enhances the overall protection offered.
