BMS Re Names Grippa as New Chief Strategy Officer in the US

BMS Re, the reinsurance division of the independent insurance and reinsurance broker BMS Group, based in New York, has announced the appointment of Tony Grippa as the chief strategy officer for its U.S. operations.

In his new role, Grippa will be a vital member of the firm’s U.S. Executive Committee. He will serve as a strategic advisor, focusing on advancing BMS Re US’s multi-year strategic plan. His efforts will be crucial in accelerating organic growth across various segments, including Programs, Mutuals, and Specialty.

Grippa brings a wealth of experience to this position. He previously held the role of senior advisor at Dowling Hales and served as executive chairman and CEO of RYZE Claim Solutions. Additionally, he was the executive chairman of Risk Transfer Agency and vice chairman on the board of directors for Atlas General. Earlier in his career, Grippa was the chief operating officer at Vanbridge, an EPIC company, and spent a decade as part of the leadership team at Brown and Brown.
