Boeing Secures $8.6 Billion Contract to Manufacture Fighter Jets for Israeli Air Force


Boeing has secured a substantial contract worth nearly $8.6 billion to manufacture 25 new F-15A aircraft for the Israeli Air Force, as confirmed by the Pentagon.

This contract is part of the broader F-15 Israel program, which aims to enhance Israel’s aerial capabilities.

Under the terms of the agreement, Boeing will produce 25 new F-15IA aircraft specifically designed for Israel, with an option to procure an additional 25 aircraft in the future.

“This contract provides for the design, integration, instrumentation, test, production, and delivery of 25 new F-15IA aircraft for the Israeli Air Force, with an option for an additional 25 F-15IA aircraft,” the Pentagon stated in its announcement.

The sale is being processed through the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program, with approximately $840 million in funds allocated immediately upon the award.

All work related to this contract will take place at Boeing’s St. Louis facility, with an expected completion date set for December 31, 2035.

This announcement follows a recent meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. They discussed the next phase of a ceasefire deal in Gaza and addressed regional security threats, particularly concerning Iran and other Middle Eastern nations.

During this meeting, Netanyahu revealed that Trump would receive the Israel Prize, the nation’s highest cultural honor, in recognition of his unwavering support for Israel.
