Burns & Wilcox Elevates Leadership Across the Country
Burns & Wilcox, based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, has recently announced a series of leadership transitions within its organization. These changes reflect the company’s commitment to fostering talent and enhancing its operational effectiveness.
Sam Carson, who previously held the position of vice president of operations, has been elevated to vice president & managing director. In this new role, Carson will oversee the Burns & Wilcox offices located in Chicago, Illinois, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With over 15 years of experience at Burns & Wilcox, Carson has successfully navigated various roles that span underwriting, business development, and operations, making him well-suited for this leadership position.
O’Neil Franso, formerly the vice president of human resources, will transition into the role of vice president of operations. Franso brings more than a decade of experience to this position, having served as a trusted partner and advisor to both the Burns & Wilcox field leadership and the executive team. His extensive background in human resources will be invaluable as he takes on new operational responsibilities.
In addition to these key promotions, Rahmad Bauldrick and Laura McCormick, who were previously associate vice presidents and regional practice group leaders for professional liability, have both been promoted to vice president. Their advancements highlight the company’s dedication to recognizing and rewarding talent within its ranks.
Burns & Wilcox has also appointed several associates to take on additional leadership responsibilities:
- Kris Guasch, an underwriter in personal insurance, has been named associate managing director in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- Jenna Zalud, manager of personal insurance, will serve as associate managing director in Milwaukee.
- Ashley Poe, who manages commercial lines, is now the associate managing director in Charlotte, North Carolina.
