DUAL LatAm Collaborates with Ki to Enhance Property Capacity in the Region

DUAL LatAm, a key player within the DUAL Group, has announced a significant enhancement in its property capacity across Latin America. This move marks a strategic expansion of the property binder initially established with Brit in 2025, underscoring DUAL’s commitment to providing robust and reliable solutions in a rapidly evolving market.
The increase in capacity is fueled by a strategic alliance with Ki, which is recognized as Lloyd’s first fully digital and algorithmically powered syndicate. This collaboration not only builds on the existing foundation with Fairfax’s Brit but also significantly bolsters DUAL LatAm’s underwriting capabilities. As a result, the company is better positioned to deliver comprehensive and tailored solutions that meet the dynamic needs of brokers and clients throughout the region.
“The inclusion of Ki in our alliance with Brit demonstrates the confidence of the markets in the project DUAL is developing in Latin America,” remarked Paola Benitez, managing director of DUAL Mexico, in a recent statement. She emphasized the long-standing partnership with Brit, which has spanned over a decade, and noted that the support across additional lines of business, combined with new partners like Ki, reflects the trust in DUAL’s strategic direction. This trust is further reinforced by the extensive regional expertise of DUAL’s team and the global strength of the DUAL Group.
By deepening its regional capabilities, DUAL LatAm is advancing its long-term growth strategy while solidifying its position as a trusted partner in the Latin American market. This strategic enhancement not only benefits DUAL but also provides brokers and clients with more robust options tailored to their specific needs.
DUAL Group operates as a subsidiary of the London-based broker Howden, while Ki Insurance and Brit are both subsidiaries of the Fairfax Group. Notably, Ki was launched by Brit in 2020, marking a significant step in the evolution of digital insurance solutions.
