Marsh Risk Expands US Surety Team With 3 Leadership Appointments

Marsh Risk, based in New York City, has announced three significant leadership appointments aimed at bolstering its U.S. Surety team.
Jimmy Tse has been appointed as the U.S. financial institutions surety growth leader. With two decades of experience in the financial sector, Tse specializes in crafting integrated strategies that link financial institutions with surety markets. Before joining Marsh, he led ANZ’s Funds and Insurance Coverage business. Operating out of New York, Tse will report to Carrick Bligh, the U.S. surety financial institutions leader.

Caroline Jardim has been appointed as the U.S. multinational surety leader. With nearly 20 years of specialized experience in the reinsurance market, Jardim joins Marsh from Marsh Risk Brazil, where she served as the credit specialty leader. She will also be based in New York and report to Curran.

Drew Vann has been appointed as the U.S. construction surety leader. Based in Atlanta, Vann will report to Fran Curran, the U.S. Surety Leader at Marsh Risk. His role will focus on supporting U.S. construction clients by enhancing credit capacity and managing financial risk. Vann brings over 20 years of experience to the table, having joined Marsh from Arthur J. Gallagher, where he was the president and director of surety for the specialty Americas division.
AXA XL Appoints Billingslea as Head of Energy, E&S
AXA XL, located in Dallas, Texas, has appointed Jason C. Billingslea as the head of energy, E&S. In this role, he will spearhead the development and growth of the energy sector team.
Billingslea, who is also based in Dallas, previously served as an Energy Liability Underwriter at AXA XL. He has extensive experience in E&S Energy, having held positions such as general agency manager of growth and development at Horace Mann Educators Corporation and regional sales manager at AmTrust Financial Services.
Nixon Joins KCC Leadership Team
KCC, headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, has brought on Deanne Nixon as senior vice president.
Nixon, based in Jacksonville, Florida, began her reinsurance career as an underwriter for CNA Re. She moved to Bermuda in 2006 with White Mountains Re (Sirius International), where she advanced to senior vice president and later president of Sirius Capital Markets. In her later career, Nixon served as chief underwriting officer and then CEO of a Florida insurer. Most recently, she has provided strategic consulting and advisory services to leading firms, including Cincinnati Re and Arbol.
