With over 25 years of experience in human resources, Deitchman brings a wealth of knowledge to her new position. Prior to joining A Place for Mom, she served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources at The Hartford. During her tenure there, she spearheaded enterprise-wide initiatives across various sectors, including property and casualty, risk services, strategy, and innovation.
Kendal Brings on Senior Director
The Kendal Corporation is pleased to welcome Morgan Lamphere as its Senior Director of Communications, Marketing, and Sales, effective November 1. In her new role, Lamphere will lead system-wide marketing initiatives and provide essential support to individual Affiliate marketing, sales, and communications teams. She will report directly to Kendal CEO Vassar Byrd.
Lamphere comes to Kendal with over 20 years of experience in strategic sales leadership and integrated marketing within the senior living sector. Byrd emphasized the significance of Lamphere’s addition, stating, “Morgan’s addition represents a critical investment in the Kendal System’s integrated communications, marketing, and sales infrastructure, highlighting our commitment to providing enhanced and expanded expertise and services to every single Kendal Affiliate.”

Wold Architects & Engineers, a firm specializing in planning, architecture, and engineering for education, government, healthcare, and senior living, has announced that Chris Powers has joined its team as a Healthcare Practice Leader. In this role, Powers will also spearhead business development efforts aimed at expanding the firm’s healthcare presence across the Tennessee region.
Powers brings over 30 years of experience to this position, including 14 years as a healthcare owner and owner’s representative, making him a valuable asset to the firm.

Anthem Memory Care has appointed Emily Potempa as the Executive Director for its Emerald Place community located in Glenview, Illinois. In her new role, Potempa will oversee all aspects of care, operations, and programming at the facility.
With 14 years of experience in the field, Potempa previously served as the Executive Director of Anthem’s Churchill Place in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and has also held the position of Executive Director with Encore Memory Care in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
