The holiday season is a time for giving back, and Raising Cane’s has partnered with a star-studded lineup to make a difference for children across the nation this year.
For the sixth consecutive year, Raising Cane’s has spread holiday cheer on two wheels. The organization collaborated with youth organizations and professional athletes to surprise kids with brand-new bikes and helmets.
This heartwarming tradition was inspired by Raising Cane’s founder, Todd Graves, who wanted to share the joy of receiving a bike during the holidays. After all, what child wouldn’t cherish that classic feeling of unwrapping a new bike on Christmas?

After gifting 2,500 bikes last year, Graves and Cane’s upped the ante this season, providing over 4,000 bikes and helmets to children in various cities, including Cincinnati, where Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins participated.
“When I walked in, you could see all the joy and how their faces lit up,” Higgins shared with FOX Business after donating 100 bikes and helmets to children at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati. Having grown up in the Boys & Girls Club himself, this initiative holds special significance for him.

“That’s what it’s all about, man. To put smiles on these kids’ faces is amazing,” he added. “When I was their age, I remember my first bike at the Boys and Girls Club. That made me smile, so it made me the happiest boy alive.”
Similarly, Minnesota Vikings stars Josh Metellus and Andrew Van Ginkel participated in a bike giveaway at the Boys & Girls Club of The Twin Cities, emphasizing the positive impact of their involvement.

“I think it’s great for Raising Cane’s to bless these kids with the opportunity to receive a bike and to know that the community cares about them,” Metellus told FOX Business. “There are people who care about furthering their development in this world. Being part of this is always special, especially around the holiday season.”
Van Ginkel added, “Life’s a lot bigger than football. Any way we can give back to the community and be there for kids who have been through a lot is important. They need that extra piece of hope to help them through difficult times.”
Although Philadelphia Eagles star receiver A.J. Brown was unable to attend his scheduled appearance due to a practice change, his A.J. Brown Foundation ensured that the children still experienced the joy of receiving bikes.
“I’m so grateful for this partnership with Raising Cane’s to spread holiday cheer and give bikes to kids. I always strive to put smiles on kids’ faces, which aligns with my foundation’s mission of mentorship and community support,” Brown shared with FOX Business.
