Siry Joins Patriot Growth Insurance Services as COO

Patriot Growth Insurance Services LLC, based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, has announced the appointment of Darryl Siry as its new chief operating officer (COO).

Darryl Siry brings over 25 years of extensive experience in technology, operations, and growth initiatives within the insurance and fintech sectors. His most recent role was as COO at Cover Whale, a digital managing general agent (MGA) specializing in trucking. Prior to that, he held significant positions including executive vice president and global chief technology officer at SiriusPoint, as well as chief technology and operations officer at ProSight Specialty Insurance.

In his new role at Patriot, Siry will collaborate closely with the executive team, regional leadership, and agency stakeholders to drive continued growth and innovation within the company.

Starkweather & Shepley Names Zito to the Employee Benefits Team

Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage Inc., located in East Providence, Rhode Island, has welcomed John Zito as an account executive on their employee benefits team.

In this capacity, Zito will assist clients across various industries in navigating the complexities of employee benefits, compliance requirements, and workforce well-being initiatives. He joins Starkweather & Shepley after serving as an employee benefits producer at Hilb Group. His previous experience also includes working as a consumer direct mortgage loan officer at Citizens. Zito will work alongside Starkweather & Shepley’s established employee benefits team to enhance the firm’s advisory and consultative services.
