In a significant safety alert, more than 6,000 teething toys sold on Amazon are being recalled due to serious choking hazards. Federal safety regulators have linked these products to numerous choking incidents, raising concerns about severe injuries and even potential fatalities.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of approximately 6,800 Yetonamr pull-string teething toys, citing violations of mandatory toy safety standards.
According to the CPSC, the silicone pull strings on these toys are smaller than allowed, posing a risk as they can extend to the back of a child’s throat, where they may become lodged.
