Amazon Recalls Smoke Detector Alarms Due to Fire Hazard Risk

In a significant safety alert, thousands of smoke detector fire alarms sold exclusively on Amazon are being recalled due to a sound issue that may lead to a fire hazard.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a notice stating that approximately 11,000 LShome Photoelectric 3-Pack Smoke Detector Fire Alarms could fail to activate promptly if the sensing threshold for security warnings is set too high. This malfunction poses a serious risk, as timely alerts are crucial for fire safety.

The smoke alarms in question are white and circular, featuring a light sound warning and a test button. They operate using 9-volt batteries, making them easy to install and maintain.
