Nationwide Recall of Frozen Dessert Due to Possible Stones, FDA Reports

A voluntary recall has been announced for pints of a non-dairy frozen dessert due to the potential presence of small stones and other hard objects, as reported by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

On Monday, Danone U.S. issued the recall for its So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert. The affected products have best-by dates prior to August 8, 2027, and were sold at retail stores nationwide.

This recall specifically impacts items with a SKU code of 136603 and a UPC code of 744473476138 that fall before the specified best-by date.

The FDA has indicated that the impacted products may contain “foreign materials, such as small stones and other hard objects, within the cashew inclusions.” Danone U.S. is “working swiftly” to remove impacted products from store shelves, as stated by the FDA.
